Police on Saturday arrested a man who allegedly burned their friend in Itahari municipality on Saturday morning. Police said that the group of four aged 25 to 30 drank alcohol on Friday evening. They had a dispute and three of them pour the petrol and burned him around 1 am on Saturday. Critically injured youth has been taken to Kathmandu hospital after his treatment was not possible in BP hospital in Dharan. Police also mentioned that the three of them put the fire down after arson. Police are searching for the other two accused and are further investigating the case. इटहरी वडा नं. ७ को बज्राहामा शनिबार बिहान जाँड–रक्सी पिएर विवाद हुँदा आफ्नै साथीले एक युवालाई पेट्रोल छर्केर आगो लगाएका छन्। २५ देखि ३० बर्ष उमेर समूहका चार जना युवा शुक्रबार रातिदेखि जाँड–रक्सी पिएर मातेपछि शनिबार बिहान १ बजेतिर विवाद हुँदा इटहरी वडा नं. ७ का वासु राईलाई आफ्नै साथीले पेट्रोल छर्केर आगो लगाएका हुन्। रातिभरि जाँड–रक्सी पिएपछि सम्हालिन नसकेका युवाहरुमध्ये तीन जना युवा मिलेर बासुलाई पेट्रोल छर्केर आगो लगाएको प्रहरीले जनाएको छ। आगो लागेर सिकिस्त भएका बासुलाई तत्काल उपचार गर्न वीपी कोइराला स्वास्थ्य विज्ञान प्रतिष्ठान धरानमा लगिएको थियो । त्यहाँ उपचार सम्भव नभएपछि काठमाडौं लगिएको इटहरीका डिएसपी सञ्जय राउतले बताए । घाइते राईको शरीर पुरै जलेको छ। ‘आगो लगाएपछि तीनै युवाले निभाएछन् र गाउँलेले देखेपछि थप सहयोग गरेछन,’ डिएसपी राउतले भने, ‘मातेको सुरमा ख्याल ख्यालमा आगो लगाएको हो वा वास्तविक लगाएको भन्नेमा अनुसन्धान भइरहेको छ।’ आगो लगाउनेमध्ये सुरज लिम्बु पक्राउ परेपनि अन्य दुई जना फरार भएकाले खोजतलास भइरहेको छ।
