Indian citizen arrested in rape accusation

Police arrested 26-year-old Mukesh Sahani, an Indian citizen, in accusation of raping a 16-year-old girl while going to attend a fete at Bariyarpatti-3 in Siraha. The girl was allegedly raped on Sunday.
Police had taken three people, including Sahani, in custody in connection with the incident. However, police shared that since it was mentioned in the complaint that one person raped the victim, Sahani was arrested. Investigation regarding the incident is ongoing.
