Dilip Mandal, 30 of Eekdara Rural Municipality-1 was misbehaved by smearing black soot on his face and putting shoes garland by a group of youth of the same place on October 29 on charge of having illicit relationship with other woman. He was controlled by the youths and misbehaved in the middle of the road. Local youth said that he was given “social punishment” on charge of having relationship with other woman. Secretary Ranjan Bhandary of Human Rights Defenders Network said that legal remedies are needed instead of misbehaving the accused.
