A group of 7 persons have attacked the rural municipality chief of Banfikot, Dharma Bahadur KC at his residence in Banfikot-4 of West Rukum on Tuesday night. KC who was sleeping at his home was attacked by the group of drunken men. They also reportedly vandalized his house.

KC sustained injury on his head in the attack when they pelted stone at him, informed DSP Sumit Khadka of DPO. Meanwhile, police have arrested all 7 persons involved in the attack.
