Police have arrested 45 years old Gajendra Ray alias Gajiya of Tilathi Koiladi Rural Municipality-5 Banarjhala on December 14 on charge of raping 35 years old woman.

The victim was raped by Gajiya including Kari Ray, 28 of the same Rural Municipality-5, Gopi Ray, 48 and 35 years old Bikaya Ray and complaint against them was lodged by the accused at District Police Office of Saptari on October 23.

The victim on a same day underwent a health checkup at Gajendra Narayan Singh Sagarmatha Zonal Hospital at Rajbiraj Municipality-4.

District Police Office had registered the complaint on November 4. Police said that other accused are still at large. The accused are however denying the allegation.
