A 14-year-old girl from Neuradin rural municipality-8, Taplejung was hiding in Bina Limbu's house in Urlabari, Morang when security officials entered the house and rescued her from the abductors on Thursday night, said DSP Ghanshyam Shrestha.
In coordination with the police team of Morang, the rescue of the missing girl was possible. The girl studied at Paramsingh Devi Secondary School in grade 8. Sarita Limbu, 25, from Jhapa who was residing in Taplejung, kidnapped the girl and took to Morang without the parents permission.
The girl's parents filed a complaint after their daughter who went to the market on December 11 didn't return home. According to the girl , she was taken by the woman asking her to take to sisters house. Police have arrestsed the Sarita Limbu for abducting the girl and 32-year-old Bina Limbu for helping the abductor.
According to DSP Shrestha, the girl was handed to her parents on Friday and the accused is under investigation.
The reason behind kidnapping the girl is being investigated by the police.
