A bomb has been detonated in a passenger bus by unidentified group at Naya Bus Park in TulsipurN.P.5 on January 24.

The bomb planted near the rear door of the bus (Na 3 Kha 3074) which was about to depart for Jhulneta of Rukum went off at 6 am, damaging the rear glasses of the bus, SI Shiv Singh Kathayat at Tulsipur Area Police Office said.

The explosion caused no casualty as passengers were collecting tickets from the counter when it took place, Prakash Bhatt, in-charge of Rapti Zonal Public Bus Entrepreneurs Committee said. Suspecting that a time bomb might have been kept in the bus, police said that pamphlet of Janatantrik Tarai Mukti Morcha was recovered nearby the incident site. <
