Police on January 1, 2019 registered a complaint of rape against 35-year-old Radhe Shyam Pandit of Khadag municipality-3 on the charge of raping a 15-year-old teenager. According to inspector Surendra Shrestha of Area Police Office Kaderbona, Pandit, an accountant at Khadag-3 based brick kiln allegedly raped the victim by who was grazing goats at the time by luring her inside the brick factory on December 31, 2018. Police arrested him on the basis of a complaint lodged by the victim's mother  on January 1. The victim underwent medical examination at Lahan municipality-3 based Ramkumar Umaprashad Sharada memorial hospital.
