SIRAHA, NOV 15 - As many as 11 people were injured in a clash between two groups of the UCPN-Maoist cadres at Karjanha on Thursday night. All the injured are the UCPN-Maoist cadres, police said. Karjanha falls under the Siraha Constituency No. 5 from where UCPN-Maoist Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal is contesting the Constituent Assembly election. The clash took place between the group led by former CA member Bishnu Lal Waiba and Ajaya Nayak alias Abinas ar around 9.30 pm. Waiba is a new entrant in the party while Abinas is the party's District In-charge. Those injured are 45-year-old Bahadur Mahara, 50-year-old Khelaon Mahara, Nathuni Mukhiya and others from Krjanha-2. They are undergoing treatment at the Phulkumari Mahato Memorial Hospital at Karjanha. Police said the clash took place over a local dispute and the cadres of both sides were found drunk.
