Area Police Office Mirchaiya on Friday registered a complaint against a 22-year-old youth on the charge of raping an 18-year-old girl.  The victim's party accused the youth of raping her on January 9, 2019 while she had gone to meet him. The victim and the accused youth had known each other through facebook and phone contact. The victim underwent medical examination at District hospital Siraha on the same day. 

DSP Sukdev Khanal of Area Police Office Mirchaiya informed that police were further investigating on the incident and were looking for the accused youth. He further stated that police would reveal the identity of the accused youth only after he was arrested.
