Locals of Mirchaiya municipality-7 were angered after  three Army men reportedly attempted to rape a local teenager.

According to locals 3 army men from Shree Gorakh Gan Choharwa allegedly attempted to rape the teenager around 9:00pm on Friday night while she had gone to relieve herself. They ran away after she shouted for help. Locals who came to help the teenager after hearing her shout caught one of the alleged army man. 

When the locals handed over the army man identified as Dipendra Shahi to the police, police also took locals Dipesh Yadav, Mukesh Yadav, and Chandan Pasman into custody citing the requirements of investigation process.
