Constable injured in firing

A police constable Mahendra Chatari Yadav, 30 is injured after an unidentified person fired a bullet on January 16.
The victim is seriously injured in a firing and is rushed to Neuro Hospital in Biratnagar for treatment according to District Police Office.
The constable was shot while he was in a patrolling at Bode Basain in Khadak Municipality. The assailant is absconding and search for him is undergoing according to police.
The victim is further airlifted to Kathmandu for treatment according o SP Rajendra Bista of DPO. Police have found a pamphlet of armed group of Terai Mukti Morcha from the incident site. Police have been deployed for the search of assailant according to the District Police Office.
