24-year-old Suntali Bham Kathayat of Chayanath Rara-6, Mugu was beaten and banished from home by her husband. On February 22, 28-year-old Gagan Bham, under the influence of alcohol, mistreated her and banished from home.
According to the victim, she started living in her mother's home at Riyagau, Kankasundari Rural Municipality, Jumla after the incident.
The victim filed the case at District Police Office, Jumla on 25 February. DSP Sitaram Rijal of Jumla District Police Office shared that they wrote to Mugu District Police Office to arrest the perpetrator and send him to Jumla.
