Police on Tuesday night arrested four persons on the charge of physical assault on Gorakh Bahadur Chanda chairperson of Pancheshwor rural municipality in Baitadi. The arrested have been identified as 32-year-old Birendra Bhandari and 55-year-old Baldev Bhandari of Pancheshwor-6, 34-year-old Rameshram Luhar and 49-year-old Hikmat Bhandari. Chanda was attacked by a group of men including the four arrested, while he was returning home with the ward 4 chairperson of the rural municipality from a meeting about the discussion of the construction of road connecting to the center of Rodidewal rural municipality's center.
