Police arrested a person for allegedly attacking on-duty cops with an iron rod in Syuchatar, Nagarjun Municipality, on Thursday.
The suspect is identified as Padam Bahadur Karki, 42, of Sindhuli district.
According to police, Karki thrashed two on-duty police personnel with an iron rod in a drunken stupor. The injured are undergoing treatment at Maharajgunj-based Nepal Police Hospital. – HNS
