An IED (Improvised Explosive Device) went off at the office building of Ribdikot rural municipality in Palpa around 2:00am on Thursday morning. According to chairperson of Ribdikot rural municipality Narayan Bahadur GC, the IED explosion damaged the doors, windows, and rooftop of the office building. Similarly, computer and photocopiers belonging to the office were also damaged in the incident. DPO Palpa said that a tyre bomb was detonated at the rural municipality office. Police also suspect Netra Bikram Chand's group was behind the incident.
