Police arrested 42-year-old man of Kalika municipality on May 1, on the charge of raping his 14-year-old daughter. Police arrested him on the basis of a complaint lodged by the victim's party at District Police Office Chitawan on May 1. In the complaint, the victim's party stated that the father raped the girl repeatedly since 2015 till September 2018. The father allegedly continued sexually abusing the girl by touching her genitals after September 2018.

The victim underwent a medical examination at Bharatpur Hospital on May 1. Police say, they are further investigating on the incident.
