Police arrested 32-year-old Rajkumar Pahari on May 6, on charge of killing his 28-year-old wife, Nirmala Nepal. The couple are from Bhumlu rural municipality-3, Kavre, and were residing at Bagbazar in Kathmandu.
According to the police, Pahari beat Nepal to death on May 4 over a domestic dispute. Pahari had hidden his wife's dead body under the bed. Locals informed police after they didn't see Nirmala till late the next day.
Postmortem examination of the body was done at Teaching Hospital in Maharajgunj on May 6.
