Youth arrested on charge of rape

Police, on May 8, arrested 26-year-old Gopal Rai of Phakphokthum rural municipality-6 on the charge of raping a 14-year-old girl in the pretext of marriage. Police arrested him based on information given by the neighbors. The accused allegedly brought the girl to his house on March 2.
The victim's father filed a complaint against the accused on May 8. Medical examination of the girl was done at District Hospital, Dailekh.
