Police arrests man on the charge of rape in Ilam

Police on Tuesday arrested 31-year-old Manjit Rai of Ilam municipality-3 on the charge of raping a 24-year-old local woman.
SP Madhav Shrestha said Police arrested Rai after a complaint was lodged against on Tuesday him accusing him of raping the woman on May 6. The victim underwent medical examination on May 8 at district hospital.
