Woman hospitalized after being beaten by husband

27-year-old Arpana Labaju of Bhaktapur Municipality-10 has been admitted to Madhyapur Thimi hospital after being beaten by her husband.
As per the locals, Arpana's husband 32-year-old Manish severely beat her by locking her in a room at 5:00 pm in the evening on Tuesday. She sustained serious injuries in the beating.
Arpana was initially admitted to Bhaktapur hospital but was later referred to Madhyapur Thimi hospital.
She has filed a complaint against her husband in Metropolitan Police Circle Bhaktapur.
