21-year-old Phulkumari Rajak of Tirhaut rural municipality-3 Goithi Piparahi has lodged a complaint of domestic violence at District Police Office on May 8 accusing her husband 25-year-old Ram Kumar Rajak, father-in-law 55-year-old Hemnarayan Rajak, and mother-in-law 50-year-old Sushiladevi Rajak of injuring her by physically assaulting her.
Inspector Rita Poudel of Women and Children Center of DPO said Phulkumari has sustained injury on different parts of her body and her eyes were swollen due to the assault. The victim is undergoing treatment at Rajbiraj based Gajendra Narayan Singh hospital.
