Suspicious item found in Kankai bridge in Jhapa

A pressure cooker wrapped by a paper believed to be an improvised explosive devise was found on the bridge over Kankai river in Jhapa on Sunday.
Locals informed the police after seeing the suspicious item. Police cordoned the area and summoned bomb disposal unit of the Nepalese Army from Shrinath Gan in Charali, according to DPO Jhapa spokesperson Mahendra Kumar Shrestha.
