Father of a 16-year-old girl in Rautahat lodged a complaint against 36-year-old Birendra Mahara of Chandrapur municipality-2 at Area Police Office Chandranigahapur on May 12 accusing him of raping the girl by holding her into captivity.
According to the victim, Birendra first raped her on March 12 by abducting her to Chitawan. He repeatedly raped her following that and last raped her on May 10. The victim revealed everything to her father after Birendra took her back to Rautahat from Chitawan on May 11.
Inspector Santosh Pathak informed the accused was sent to District Police Chitawan for further investigation.
