Journalists affiliated to Press Union Sunsari staged a demonstration in Itahari against the government's alleged attempt to curb press freedom in Nepal.
Demanding the government to withdraw the Media Council Bill it recently tabled at the parliament the journalists tied black bands on their mouth and raised one leg in a symbolic protest at Itahari chowk.
