IED goes off near Kanchan river in Rupandehi

An unidentified group exploded a cylinder bomb near Kanchan river in Kanchan rural municipality-2 of Rupandehi Saturday at 4:00 am in the morning. An IED was also found at Kataiya of Omsatiya-1. Although the cylinder bomb was detonated in the wee hour locals informed police about the incident only at 7:30am. Police stated that no damage was reported in the explosion.
