Police have arrested 29-year-old Tek Bahadur Kunwar and his wife, 33-year-old Mina Kumari Basnet Kunwar, owners of Rapti Menu hotel in Butwal sub-metropolitan city-11 Kalikanagar on May 22 on the charge luring a 15-year-old girl for a god job and involving her in prostitution. 

The incident came to light after, the victim unable to bear the torment of being forced to engage in prostitution by the couple in different hotels and houses, ran away and told everything to her mother.

 Quoting the victim, DSP Dil Bahadur Malla said, the arrested couple were running a sex racket in the hotel by luring minor girls with a prospect of a good job.

DSP Malla said, police are preparing to charge the couple under Human Trafficking and Organized Crime Act. The victim underwent medical examination at Lumbini Provincial hospital in Butwal on May 22.
