Police recovered a body of a woman in Dhanakaul Rural Municipality-4 in Sarlahi district on Saturday night. The condition of the body showed that the woman was murdered.
Locals first recovered the body of the unidentified married woman, who seemed to be aged 25 years, according to the District Police Office, Malangawa. The body was found in the bushes.
When the police reached the site, they traced blood on the nose and blue marks on her neck, according to police spokesperson and Deputy Superintendent of Police Pratit Singh Rathaur.
Further police investigation was underway after the body was sent to the district hospital for autopsy.
Police continued investigation even on Sunday morning by reaching the incident site. Police recovered nothing except for the sandal worn by the victim in the site.
Police have issued a circular to identify the details of the woman by dispatching photographs in their respective police units of the district.
Sarlahi Police have also tried to establish communication with the Indian police as the woman looked like an Indian national.
