A complaint was filed at the police station on June 19 stating that 53-year-old Rameshwor Giri, 40-year-old Raj Kishor Giri, 75-year-old Santoliya Giri, 45-year-old Rajamati Devi Giri, 17-year-old Govinda Kumari Giru, 16-year-old Namika Kumari Giri, 3-year-old Lorik Kumar Giri and 14-year-old Binita Kumari Giri of Kalaiya sub-metropolitan-2 were beaten regarding a fight between children.
A group of people including 30-year-old APF personnel Santosh Giri and 36-year-old police personnel Kanahi Giri allegedly attacked the members of Giri family with bamboo sticks regarding a fight between children on June 16.
Ramesh Giri, Raj Kishor Giri, Santoliya Giri, Rajamati Devi Giri, Govinda Kumar Giri, Namika Kumari Giri, Lorik Kumar Giri and Binita Kumari Giri sustained injuries from the attack.
