Police have arrested 35-year-old Krishna Bista, a soldier, on the charge of raping his sister-in-law.
According to Lal Bahadur Dhami, DSP of District Police Office Doti, Krishna was taken under control after a complaint was lodged against him saying he had raped his sister-in-law when she had gone out to urinate her son at night.
The relatives of the victim said that Krishna, who was drunk, also beaten her up.
However, the arrested Krishna has denied the accusation of rape. According to police, in his statement, Krishna has said that he had bullied his sister-in-law but didn't rape her.
The accused Bista was working in the Kumar Dalgulm Suparitar Hetauda of the Nepal Army, said Deputy Superintendent of Police Dhami.
