Family members of an 11-year-old girl filed a complaint against 36-year-old Ram Bahadur Chaudhary of Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan City-7 on June 27, accusing Chaudhary of raping the minor girl.

Police informed that the complaint was filed only after the victim informed her parents that the accused raped her on June 22 and June 25.

According to Dakshya Kumar Basnet, DSP of District Police Office, the accused managed to go on the run as the victim's party reported about the incident late. Police are however, looking for him.

DSP Basnet informed that the victim underwent the medical examination at Seti Zonal Hospital on 27th June.
