Police arrested 42-year-old Raj Bahadur Buda, on July 4, on the charge of attempting to murder his 38-year-old wife, Sunita Buda. The couple is from originally Sarkegaad Rural Municipality-5 and is currently residing at Simkot Rural Municipality-6.

The victim shared that her husband attacked her with a sharp weapon around 3 pm on July 4, while he was intoxicated. She also mentioned that she was able to survive because she fled the scene. 

The victim filed a complaint at District Police Office Humla immediately after the incident. According to Inspector Harihar Khadka, police have taken the accused in custody for investigation.
