An unidentified group vandalized 35 sets of the desks and benches of Nepal Rastriya Primary School in Birgunj Metropolis-23. In addition to vandalism, they dropped these furniture items into the ground floor from a floor up. Vandalism has caused damage of around a hundred thousand rupees, said Bijay Pokhrel, the principal of the school.
There are three hundred and fifty students admitted to the school. The regular classes of the school were affected from July 8 due to vandalism. Police are investigating the persons and the motive behind the vandalism said Shreepur Ward Police Office.
