Quoting the ward chairperson of therural municipality Dudhraj Tamang, DSP Deepak Giri said the two persons who had gone to repair drinking water line were both found dead this morning.
According to Ward Chairperson Tamang, 50-year-old Sancharsi Lama and 40-year-old Nara Bahadur Lama who went to check the water source on Wednesday were found dead this morning at jungle in Bhangetar. A dog which had accompanied them was also found dead.
Of the dead men, the body of one appears to have been burnt while one man's eye has been broken and clothes torn.
DSP Giri said a team of police has been deployed to the site of the incident for further investigation.
