Local women discovered bodies of a woman of around 25 years of age and an infant on the afternoon of August 17 in a decaying state. Police have suspected murder after looking at the nature of the bodies. The bodies were covered with leaves.

Police are investigating the case. The bodies are at Rapti Provincial Hospital in Tulsipur. However, post-mortem examinations have not been done because the bodies are in the decaying state.
