Palpa district court has given a verdict of two and a half years of imprisonment for Gaya Prasad Yadav in the case of rape attempt of a 6-year-old child. Yadav, the native of India, lived in Tansen municipality-9 and worked as a laborer in the area.
The bench of judge Khadga Bahadur K.C. gave the verdict labeling the case as child sexual abuse even though a complaint of attempted rape was filed in the police.
A complaint or rape was filed on 15th March alleging the accused of rape attempt on 14th March. Police had then started the investigation taking the accused on the custody.
