Police, on 13th October,  have arrested three members of the same family for an investigation into the suspicious death of 24-year old Soriyem Khatun.  Among the arrested are Nasurdudhin Miya of Pakahamainpur rural municipality-4, his brother Wintu Miya, and the Khatun's sister-in-law Tuna Khatun. 

Khatun had died on 6th October and her dead body was cremated the next day. The dead body was recovered on 12th October for post-mortem. 

The family members have claimed that Suryum committed suicide by hanging. However, Khatun's maternal family suspected that the cause of her death was not suicide, as they were not allowed to see the body properly.  Therefore, they had filed a complaint on 11th October in Pokhariya area police. 

Police inspector Singh said if the woman was killed or not would be found out only after the post-mortem report.
