Meena Khadka, 32, of Hasandaha VDC-1 has filed a complaint against her family members at the District Police Office on December 3 accusing them of beating her over a domestic dispute. Women and Children Service Centre at the DPO informed that a domestic violence case was filed against her husband Dhan Bahdur Khadka, his brother Purna Bahadur Khadka and other family members. Chief of the Centre Jamuna Basnet said that the Area Police Office Pathari had been told to summon the accused. According to the victim, the accused beat her on December 1 when she demanded that her children should stay with her. Medical treatment of the victim was conducted in the Koshi Zonal Hospital in Biratnagar.
