Ward member arrested on charge of rape

The District Police Office Bhojpur has arrested 38-year-old Bal Kumar Rai on the charge of raping a woman at Humsu, Hatuwagadhi Rural Municipality-6 in Bhojpur district.
Rai is a member of the Ratuwagadhi Rural Municipality, Ward Number 6. The victim had filed a complaint with the police that Rai had sexually assaulted her on December 1.
And police arrested him on Friday based on this complaint.
Deputy Superintendent of Police at the District Police Office Bhojpur, Nara Bahadur Salami Magar said a case will be filed against Rai on the rape charge.
He said an investigation has been initiated in this connection.
