Police has arrested Kaji Man Rai, 43 of Dharan Sub Metropolitan- 15 on charge of killing his wife Ramila Rai, 36, on 24 December.

During a dispute, the accused had stroked his wife with wood after which she was taken to BP Koirala Health Science Academy, Ghopa, Dharan. She lost her life in the course of treatment and the accused was arrested immediately, informed DSP Dhundi Raj Neupane of Area Police Office.

Postmortem of the body was done at BP Koirala Health Science Academy on 26 December.
