An unidentified group vandalized the ward office of Melauli Municipality-7 on the night of December 28. According to Jyalal Ayer of the Area Police Office Melauli the group stole the computer from the office by breaking the padlock at the office door.
Inspector Kishan Chand of the District Police Office, Baitadi said that the police have launched a manhunt to nab the perpetrators.
Rajendra Karki, chairman of the ward, said that the work of the office has been affected due to the vandalism in the office.
