Family member of a 50-year-old woman with physical disability has lodged a complaint against 50-year-old Ramnath Mallah of Suddodhan Rural Municipality-1 Chankhipur at Area Police Office Butwal on Tuesday on the charge of raping the woman on Sunday, Jaunary 5.

According to DSP Bhimlal Bhattarai, police have started an investigation into the incident by registering the complaint lodged by the victim's son. Police are looking for the accused who remains on the run.

The victim underwent a medical examination at Lumbini Provincial hospital.
