Hotel operator accused of forcing sex work

Police arrested Sushil Mandal, a hotel operator at Laxminiya Rural Municipality-4, on January 21 on the charge of forcing a 27-year-old woman to do sex work.
Locals had informed the police about the illegal sex work going on at the hotel. Police arrested 35-year-old Amit Kumar Sah of Chhireswornath Municipality-5 while having intercourse with the woman.
The victim's medical examination was done at the provincial hospital in Janakpur on January 20.
