An unidentified group of people set fire to the office building of ward 3 in Kushe Rural Municipality-3 located at Dandabhauta on January 21.
According to ward chairperson Tek Bahadur Hamal, the group took out all the documents, computer, printer, solar panels and solar battery, 57 plastic chairs, tables and other items belonging to the ward office and set them on fire.
All 3 rooms of the ward office have been completely damaged in the arson, informed ward chairperson Hamal.
According to DSP Kishor Kumar Shrestha of District Police Office Jajarkot, a team under sub-inspector Ishwori Shahi of Archhani police post have reached the ward office and are further investigating.
