Police have arrested 3 people from Bharatpur for keeping two girls as a hostage to engage in prostitution. District Police Office, Chitwan, has arrested 50-year-old Janga Bahadur Chhetri and his wife 39-year-old Nirmala Thapa Magar along with 24-year-old Resika Rai of Dharan. Chhetri was running a Hotel Khotang Halesi and Sagarmatha Guest House in Bharatpur, Chitwan. Resika Rai 24, who was arrested with the hotel owner and his wife, acted as an accomplice in holding the girls two girls aged 24 and 14 years old hostage and engaging them in prostitution. The District Police Office Chitwan has started an investigation against them under the case of the Human trafficking act by remanding their custody by 5 days.
