Police deployed from Area Police Lahan, on February 4, arrested 25-year-old Saroj Kumar Shah of Lahan Municipality-11 and Jitendra Kumar Yadav of Lahan-14 on the charge of attempting rape on an 18-year-old girl. The victim's family filed a complaint of attempted rape at the district police office on February 4. The victim underwent a medical examination on the same date at Siraha District Hospital. Police are further investigating the incident.
