Nepal Congress continues protests against CIAA in Kathmandu

Nepal Tarun Dal and Nepal Student Union(NSU), the sister wings of the Nepali Congress, staged a protest on February 9 in Maitighar Mandala. They claimed that the Commission for the Investigation for Abuse of Authority(CIAA) pardoned the leaders of the ruling Nepal Communist Party(NCP) and registered case against the others for political revenge. Earlier, CIAA registered a case against 175 people including Bijay Kumar Gachhadar, the co-chairperson of Nepal Congress, for their alleged involvement in Lalita Niwas Scandal.
