Police arrests two on rape and robbery charge

Police have arrested 2 persons on the charge of raping a 37-year-old woman in Shivapuri Rural Municipality-5 of Nuwakot on March 15. They had also robbed the woman of jewelleries and cash after raping her. Police arrested the two on the basis of a complaint filed by the woman on the same day. The arrested have been identified as 25-year-old Umesh Tamang of Shivapuri Rural Municipality-5 and 32-year-old Sanokanchha Tamang of Dupcheshwor Rural Municipality-5.
Police are further investigating against them.
