Sindhupalchok/ March 4 BB Maya Tamang, 44, of Phulpingkot VDC-6 has lodged a complaint against her husband Sancha Bahadur Tamang, 44, at District Police Office on March 3 on charge of beating and torturing her. The victim claimed that her husband beat, tortured and expelled her from the house on February 23. Sunita Gurung, chief of Women and Children Service Center said that a case of domestic violence has been lodged against the accused. She further said that the police have been deployed to the incident site to arrest the accused.
