NSU stages Protests in Birgunj

Nepal Student Union (NSU) burned the effigies of Finance Minister Yuvaraj Khatiwada and Chief Minister of Province 2 Lal Babu Raut in Birgunj on June 4. They demanded the waiver of all forms of taxes incurred during the lockdown period. They said they protested as the government set the deadline for the taxes instead of bringing relief packages to the entrepreneurs.
